Deciding to remodel or renovate is just the beginning of an exciting process! Let us walk you through the steps Everlast Construction takes to make your renovation or remodel easy, straightforward and “fun”.
The Initial Meeting
Your initial meeting with Everlast Construction is the first step to developing the relationship of trust necessary to ensure your enjoyment of the remodeling process – trust in the quality of the craftsmanship, trust in the dependability of our team, and trust that you and your home will be treated as if it was our own.
Ask questions, lots of them. Talk about your ideas, hopes, concerns, and plans for your project. Ask about our experience, our vision, and our way of working. During this initial meeting at your home or project location, Everlast Construction will:
Proposal and Drawings
Once the scope of work has been determined, Everlast Construction will present and review with you a detailed proposal of your project. At this meeting it is very important that both husband and wife or significant other attend. Reason for this is because we discuss in great detail:
Once you are comfortable with Everlast Construction, the agreed upon scope of work, drawings (when applicable) and proposal, you are ready to start your project!
Contract
This meeting usually takes place at your home. At this time we will go over the proposal, finalize on any drawings, take final measurements, discuss our time line and sign all the necessary paperwork. Depending on the project we would also invite our cabinet maker. He would take his measurements and go over in great detail with you how you want your new cabinets to work for you.
Selections
Before we get started on your project it is very important that selections are made. Most if not all selections can be made at our showroom, but there may be some products that we do not have on display. In situations like this we would set up appointments with our preferred vendors and go with you to make these product selections.
Work Begins
We understand that the better you understand the steps of the process, the more comfortable you will be that all your expectations will be meet. The remodeling (construction) phase of your project can be a stressful time – Everlast Construction will do everything in its power to minimize the stress through constant communication. This includes you getting the same project schedule as our team members. The schedule will include the dates, times and who is coming in when. This eliminates a lot of questions as to what is happening when. We will also keep you updated through emails or telephone calls. Everlast Construction and your project manager are always available to discuss any questions that may arise and looks forward to working with you to ensure your total satisfaction.
Completion of Your Project
Our work is not complete until you are satisfied. The Everlast Construction team will work tirelessly to fulfill your every need and will never cut corners. The satisfaction of our clients is our team’s number one goal, and you can feel comfortable that we will strive to exceed your expectations.
